What an amazing find. I had heard there's a museum in Nungarin but certainly didn't expect what we saw. Some amazing machinery including several tanks, scout cars and bren carriers. Even a working search light I hadn't seen since around 1950. There's also a huge collection of steam engines and tractors. Nungarin also has a rich military history.

We went on 22nd August 2017. A wonderful collection of army and agricultural machinery. Impressive building. Met Jim who gladly opened up for us at very short notice. He was able to explain lots of things. Still a bit of a mystery about what the army achieved with the expenditure. It was WW2 and something had to be seen happening I suppose!
